Burkert Type 3361 (SKU 358992) electromotive 2-way globe control valve. Features 2" ANSI B16.5 flange, PTFE seal, 24V DC, AG2 actuator, and oxygen suitability.

BURKERT 358992 (Type 3361) is an innovative electromotive 2-way globe control valve designed for demanding operating conditions. This specific configuration features a 2" ANSI B16.5 flange connection, a PTFE seat seal, and operates on 24V DC supply voltage. It is equipped with an AG2 actuator delivering 1300 N of driving force and is specifically rated as an oxygen version, supporting medium temperatures from -10 °C to 60 °C and operating pressures from 0 to 6 bar. The valve provides an equal percentage 50:1 control cone variant with a Kv value of 37 m³/h (Cv 42.8 gal/min).
The Type 3361 electromotive actuator with ball screw positions the control cone with the highest precision. A unique feature is its high positioning speed up to 6 mm/s that reacts almost delay-free to process signals. Pressure variations or shocks in the medium are not transferred to the valve position. The closed design and robust surface ensure hygienic requirements for fast and residue-free cleaning, while the IP65/IP67 protection class and high impact and vibration resistance make it suitable for harsh environmental conditions.

WARNING
In addition to the maximum operating pressures, the application range of Bürkert process valves is limited by the nominal pressure in accordance with the relevant standard.

The maximum permissible temperature for the environment and the medium are dependent on each other. The maximum allowable temperature curves of different device variants are shown in the temperature chart.

The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear and a spindle system that transfers the force to the closing element. The integrated electronics are controlled either by standard signals or via a fieldbus (digital). The electromotive linear actuator is designed to provide optimum efficiency. At the same time, it keeps the valve tight and in position even at the maximum specified medium pressure in a powerless standstill.

The position of the actuator (stroke) is controlled according to the position set-point value. The position set-point value is either given by an external standard signal (analogue) or via a fieldbus (digital). The displacement transducer records the actual position (POS) of the electric linear actuator. The positioner compares the actual position value with the position set-point value (CMD) specified as standard signal. If there is a system deviation, the electric motor drive is controlled via the actuating variable and the actual position value is changed accordingly.
